Author, and founder of “Immersion Language Learning”.

Born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, Topiltzin Q. Mariano is passionate about education and the Spanish language. After graduating with a degree in Communication Sciences, he moved to the United States to specialize in education and teaching methods.

With extensive experience teaching at various educational levels, from preschool to university, Mariano identified a critical need in language education: his students, despite mastering grammar, struggled to communicate fluently in real-life situations.

Motivated by this challenge, in 2012 he founded “Immersion Language Learning,” a unique Spanish immersion school. He developed an innovative teaching method and created his own textbooks, designed to foster conversation and authentic understanding of the language.

Today, “Immersion Language Learning” is a well-established institution with over twenty teachers and more than 250 students annually. The success of his method is based on the belief that students should be able to use Spanish in their daily lives, especially with their families.

This personal conviction, backed by his experience as a father of four bilingual children, led him to write this book, where he shares his knowledge and strategies to help other parents raise bilingual children.
